Who is conducting this research study?
A student researcher at Antioch University, in partnership with You Grow Girl!, a King County based nonprofit organization in Washington State, are asking you to fill out this anonymous survey about what services and programs Washington State Black girls and young women want for their developmental and psychological sustainability.
There are minimal, if any, risks from participating. The risks, discomforts, and inconveniences by participating in this survey might be:
Retraumatization (conscious or unconscious reminder of past traumas)

How will you use my responses?
Though the purpose of this study is initially to fulfill requirements to complete coursework, the researcher also intends to include the data and results of the study in scholarly publications, presentations, advocacy initiatives, and curriculum development. The information may be used for future research without additional consent.
Your identity will be anonymous. You will not be asked for your name and all demographic data, such as, zip code, age, and ethnicity/race being collected will be reported as aggregated information. No personally identifiable information will be associated with your responses to any reports of these data. The survey will take approximately 4-10 minutes to complete.
There is no cost associated with this study. Your participation is voluntary, and you may elect to discontinue your participation at any time.

Do I meet eligibility to participate?
To participate in this study, we have identify four (4) groups that we want to hear from to advance our research. If you identify as an individual within one of the following groups below AND live in either King, Pierce or Snohomish counties in Washington State -- you may participate in this study.
** Please note that your response to no more than one (1) survey is all we need. **

Black, African American, Afro-ethnic, or African Diaspora female-identifying youth between the ages of 13-18
- Parent or legal guardian of a Black, African American, Afro-ethnic, or African Diaspora female-identifying youth between the ages of 13-18
- Black, African American, Afro-ethnic, or African Diaspora female-identifying youth between the ages of 11 & 12 or 19-24
- Service providersworking with Black, African American, Afro-ethnic, or African Diaspora female-identifying youth between the ages of 11-24
